“ Traditional food with Good view,good food,good taste... ”
“ A MUST VISIT If you want to eat good local food, the real local way together with local people, this is the place to go in Pangkalanbuun We wanted to go to "Warung Cak-Cek" in the center of Pangkalanbuun, but it was closed, and our Grap driver took us to Warung Apung Kita Jua, which we definitely don't regret! The warung is at the outside of the city on the riverside - yes, the restaurant is actually ON several boats /barges connected by small bridges, when a small longboats passes, you can slightly fell the waves it is making The food was tastefully and delicious. We had two big chicken legs (ayam goreng) and a grilled fish (nila bakar - shared 2 people, which might not be enough for other people) rice for all four people and four drinks (es "...."), and the total price was 110.000 IDR. The menu is only in Indonesia so bring your dictionary. The owner saw we had some difficulty eating without cutlery, and brought us spoons and forks without request Our children loved the cats and the kittens we met on our way in and out of the restaurant. We had earlier dinner the day we visit Warung Apung Kita Jua, so we where the only ones there, but locals were coming as we left at 18:30. This is a MUST VISIT if you are in Pangkalanbuun, also if you are here only for one night before or after your orangutan tour! ”
“ A floated restaurant in Arut river, located under a bridge, serving seafood menu. Plenty kind of fishes and vegetables menus are offered. Their dishes are great and served in huge amount / portion. Sometimes if you're lucky enough you can see a passing boat or ship, this will make the restaurant swung by the wave. Beware of crocodile (sometimes, but rarely, they came to the river), do not put yourself in the water. ”
